SIGNIFICANCE:

All my items come from a deep desire to create one of a kind bold jewelry with symbolic significance. Every piece of my jewelry has a story or a myth that suggests living life with thoughtfulness and a freedom to believe in the beauty of all creation. The physical mobility that most of my pieces allows for gives the wearer the ability to transform my objects to match their daily moods. It is my belief that jewelry should be able to convey a message and not just be a "pretty thing" that is eventually disposable.

Although my designs here are based on my swallow theme, I have custom crafted simple yet bold; elegant engagement rings and bands that are signature imprints of my clients tastes. Each order is important to me and I examine lifestyle, psychology, and taste in my design process to bring each client a unique copyrighted design. Due to the high fluctuations of gold and silver prices I will allow a 5 day period after estimates are given to list a custom listing. Otherwise, you cannot come to me a year later and expect the same prices originally estimated. I make SOLID pieces that are not hollowed out. Silver is now the cost of gold back in 2006 so please do not think that you will be receiving those prices as estimates. All pieces are made to order and I cannot at this time make samples for you in sterling silver. The costs for materials are very high.

ALL CUSTOM ORDERS HAVE A CURRENT WAIT PERIOD OF 4 MONTHS TO COMPLETE. PLEASE PLACE YOUR HOLDS ON CUSTOM ORDERS AS YOUR ORDERS WILL BE EXPEDITED AT THE TIME IT IS RECEIVED. 💥EXPECT A WAIT OF 24hrs- 1 full week depending on your custom request for an estimate.

GOLDEN RULES: Once a custom ring or final custom design is settled upon, the ring or design cannot be changed or modified. I have to go through a lot of channels to finish a design.
I make every effort to take time to explain and send numerous emails and pictures so that there are no problems with any order.
There are no fees for the consultation period. It sometimes takes 2 weeks or 6 months to a year to finalize a design. Since this is an internet based sale, I like you to feel comfortable, but after final design and price is worked up, I have to work up a new price every time a design is modified. All consultation hours are not considered when finalizing a design concept.
That said, these are very expensive for me to make and very time consuming. Every order I receive is very important to me and I want you to be happy with your finished piece.
If I were a painter and I was charging for paper and pen, for thousands of dollars I can understand the eyebrow raise, but I am working with precious materials and every day is a hazard for me when I enter the studio.

For other custom jobs each hour I charge upwards of $250 per model to $750 per model depending on the work I do for each client. Most clients are other jewelers who need fast turnaround and a huge markup on marketable and molded for production jewelry.

***There are no refunds for items in my shop due to the custom make of every item. Items can be returned for a shop credit, or exchanged for another piece. Every item is solid .925, or Special Silver marked .925 or solid gold in the karat specified. I do not work in brass or copper, or base metals.

If there is a problem with the piece ordered, I will make sure that it is fixed. Any worn, or manhandled pieces will not be considered, If there is a problem with the "make" of the piece, I will have to see what the problem is.

☛SIZING: Nest Rings and Branch Rings cannot be sized.
☞If an agreement is reached between the client and Jennifer Yi Jewelry-- please know that Jennifer Yi Jewelry will NOT be responsible for any damages that come from repairs or sizing that is completed. The recommendation will always be to build a new piece.

Every piece is hand made with care and is not mass manufactured, nor do I purchase mass manufactured parts to make the jewelry.
Whether it is carved in wax, or fabricated from raw metals, each piece is made to exacting production and is made by me Jennifer Yi.
The chains and parts such as O ring clasps are the only mass manufactured parts in my jewelry. Even to that end, I do use classical jewelry making methods to put each piece together, such as soldering, forming etc. The twisted jump rings or loops are all made by hand and twisted using tools in my shop and sawn out by hand.
For my shop, I don't have a production line. I am me, myself and I. Each piece is a masterpiece made exclusively for you.
